1. Starfall - This is a great website that targets phonics and reading skills. It is great everyday practice. Students use the website in the classroom.
2. The Reading Genie - The Reading Genie website provides how to teach children to read and many materials needed to go along with teaching them to read.
3. ReadWriteThink - ReadWriteThink is a very good website for teacher and classroom resources for grades K-12 such as lessons, interactives, calendar activities and more. It also has parent and after-school resources such as games, activities, and projects.
4. Scholastic - Scholastic is a great website with many resources in reading for parents, teachers, students, administrators, and librarians. It has strategies and ideas for teachers, activities, games, videos for students, and books with the authors for all grades K-12.
5. WritingFix - WritingFix is a good website for using writing because it has writing prompts, lessons, and resources for writing. It also has a few games for children to do as well.
